K&N Performance Silver oil filters provide outstanding filtration and engine protection throughout their service life and are engineered to handle virtually all grades of synthetic, conventional and blended motor oils. The pleated media provides high filtration capacity making them suitable for extended oil change intervals when used in accordance with the vehicle and motor oil manufacturers recommendation.

I've been using these filter for 4 years now. When I bought my 04 volvo the engine was so black inside, that when I would do a oil change it looked like it was never done. The new oil I just put in would turned black instantly. After several oil changes using the K&N filter, the motor was clean again and the oil was clear. It finally looked like I actually changed the oil. I can only credit this happening from regular oil changes and the quality of the K&N filter,from clearing the gunk out.

After using K&N oil filters for a while now, I wouldn't use anything else. Great quality, oil stays cleaner, and I never have any lubrication issues that I do with other, sometimes more expensive, filters.
