K&N XStream Series Motocross air filter part number HA-4509XD
2009 Honda CRF450R at K&N headquarters in Riverside, California
K&N XStream Series Motocross air filter part number HA-4503XD
K&N XStream Series Motocross Air Filter part number HA-2505XD
K&N XD air filters use an extra fine weave grade cotton for added efficiency and
capacity needed for extreme dusty off-road conditions. This
thicker filtering medium provides increased protection while it provides the
performance necessary to stay in the front of the pack. K&N XD air filters were
developed for the extreme conditions encountered by race teams in the Baja 1000.
K&N XStream Series Motocross air filter, part number HA-4509XD is available for your 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 Honda CRF450R.
The HA-4503XD is also available for your 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 to 2009 Honda CRF250R and your 2003 through 2008 Honda CRF450R.
K&N’s HA-2505XD is designed for the 2004 to 2016 Honda CRF250X and your 2005 through 2016 Honda CRF450X.
Riders can take performance to the next level with the use of a two piece air filter
designed to fit specifically into your OE air box assembly. The HA-4509XD, HA-4503XD and HA-2505XD incorporate an air filter into the filter’s top and provides a larger filtration area for high airflow and increased dirt capacity in extreme conditions.
The specially designed pleated media on each filter piece provides less restriction than typical foam air filters. Allowing your engine to breathe easier can give your Honda extra horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent filtration.
The epoxy coated aluminum wire mesh incorporated into a backfire screen, protects the filter element from harmful debris. This two-piece design makes installation and removal easier for HA-4509XD, HA-4503XD and HA-2505XD on narrow MX bikes. Pliable application specific sealing beads ensure an air tight fit against the backing plate.
No cutting or fitting is required and fuel modifications are not necessary to obtain increased performance. The HA-4509XD, HA-2505XD and the HA-4503XD are covered for one year by the K&N Limited Warranty.
K&N XD off road filters are designed and manufactured for a wide variety of applications. Regardless of the angle, offset or diameter of the air intake, there is a
K&N universal air filter for the air inlet you need to filter.
K&N XD air filter part number RU-4960XD has extra fine weave grade cotton and alternate geometries for added efficiency and capacity for off-road conditions
K&N has released a new round tapered XD universal air filter, part number
RU-4960XD for off road conditions.
K&N XD air filters use an extra thick filtering medium for more efficiency
and increased protection under high dust conditions. The deep pile design and extra fine weave grade cotton was developed for the extreme conditions race teams face in the Baja 1000.
The RU-4960XD captures harmful particles and continue to provide the performance necessary to stay in the front of the pack. Our universal XD filters also features an ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flange which absorbs vibration, allowing for secure attachment. It can also be stretched up to 1/16” (1.5 mm) to fit in-between sizes.
The RU-4960XD has a flange length of 2 inches (51 mm) and a flange inside diameter of 2.75 inches (70 mm). It has a 6 inch outside diameter base (152 mm), and a 5 inch (127 mm) top outside diameter.
Washable and reusable, K&N XD cotton air filters can be cleaned in the same way as
K&N’s original cotton air filters.
The Harley-Davidson Motor Company has continuously produced the Sportster line of motorcycles since 1957. In the 1950s British-made motorcycles were all the rage. The Sportster was born out of a need for a Milwaukee-built answer to the lightweight, fast, and fun-to-ride British motorcycles flying off showroom floors.

Dyno Chart for 2007 to 2010 Harley-Davidson Sportster Motorcycles.
Times have changed, and sport motorcycles have evolved in a very different direction. But today, just as it was over 50 years ago, the Sportster remains Harley-Davidson’s most affordable, lightweight, and easy-to-ride line of motorcycles.
K&N seized the opportunity to increase performance for 2007 to 2016 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 cc and 1200 cc motorcycles with its new Aircharger® performance air intake kit. Available in a textured black finish, part number 63-1126 will increase horsepower by over 8.5 HP at the rear wheel!
This K&N Aircharger® intake kit completely replaces the potentially restrictive original equipment air cleaner assembly with a mandrel-bent powder coated aluminum intake tube and a chrome-top conical shaped K&N High-Flow Air Filter™ number RC-3680. K&N air filters are washable/reusable and will last the life of your vehicle. Also included with part number 63-1126 is a complete breather assembly, mounting hardware, and a throttle body adaptor.
K&N dynamometer tests show an increase of 8.57 horsepower at 5,533 RPM on a 2009 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200. Results will vary with other models. Part number 63-1126 increases performance while also enhancing the appearance of your Sportster.
For increased protection and style, K&N offers Drycharger® filter wrap number RC-3680DK that can be used in conjunction with 63-1126. Drychargers® are made from a durable polyester material containing uniform micron openings which will stop small dirt particles, repel water, and increase service intervals. All while adding very little restriction to the airflow of the filter.
K&N’s Aircharger® Performance Air Intake Kit number 63-1126 fits the following motorcycles:

The Best in the Desert Henderson Fabtech Classic Race in Nevada marked the end of the BITD 2009 season. The Lasher Motorsports Team finished the BITD on a high note. Drivers Mike Lasher and Rick Wallace took their Kawasaki Teryx to a fourth place finish in the Henderson Fabtech Classic. That position gave them a second place finish overall in the points standings for the year.

Cold weather and blinding dust were part of the BITD 60 mile course filled with boulders, sand and silt
“Our original plan was to take it slow and easy in the Henderson Fabtech Classic,” said Lasher. “As long as the Kawasaki could finish, our team would sustain at minimum, a third spot in the season long points battle. However, we managed better than third.” Lasher and Wallace battled cold weather at the start of the race. The thermometer only read 22 degrees but thousands of spectators lined the course to watch the action.

The six race 2010 Best in the Desert Season kicks off January 8-10 in Parker, Arizona
“Blinding dust and the cold made for a slow first lap,” said Lasher. “We wanted to make sure we didn’t damage the Teryx.” The team ran rest of the race without a hitch and completed two 60 mile laps in less than four hours.
“The course was filled with boulders, silt and sand,” he said. “The terrain proved to be no match for the ITP wheels and tires as they pushed through the desert with easy from the power of the Lockmann Precision built Muzzy’s motor. The performance gain from our K&N products, part numbers 55-1000 and
KN-204, helped us get to the top of our class and stay ahead of the competition.”
The team ran a complete BITD season of seven races in the grueling deserts of Arizona and Nevada during 2009. Lasher Motorsports also competed in the Vegas to Reno race, the Silver State 300 and the Parker 250.
“The Kawasaki Teryx built by Side X Side Outfitterz saw over 1800 race miles during the season and finished every race,” said Lasher. “I’ve been a long time user of K&N and have nothing but great things to say. K&N air filters help keep the cost of racing down because they are washable and reusable.”

The Cummings Motorsports Team had another successful season in 2009. Brothers Britt and Slate Cummings along with family patriarch Larry Cummings, Jody Simoneaux and team partner Allen Constantine posted wins along the IHRA and NHRA sportsman racing tours.

In IHRA competition, the Moser backed team scored a pair of division titles. Britt Cummings earned the Division 4 Top Dragster crown and Jody Simoneaux took the top sport in Division 4 Stock Eliminator. The team also scored a trio of IHRA national event victories. Slate Cummings earned a double victory at the Mardi Gras Nationals and Larry Cummings took his first national event triumph at the Northern Nationals.

The Cummings Team also earned six spots in four categories at the IHRA Tournament of Champions event in 2010. Both Larry and Slate Cummings will compete in Super Stock, while Slate Cummings and Simoneaux earned bids in Stock Eliminator. Britt Cummings earned a seed in the Top Dragster runoff and Constantine will compete for the title in Quick Rod.
In NHRA competition, both Slate Cummings and Simoneaux earned the right to compete in the JEGS All-Stars competition in June 2010.
“We can’t look back and say this was a bad season,” said Britt Cummings. “We all had our moments. We are moving forward next year and hope to take our program to the next level. We’re a world championship caliber team, we’ve proven that in the past and anything short of that really does not meet our expectations.”
Britt Cummings is also looking forward to a full race schedule next year. He spent much of his time over the past few seasons at home with his wife who fought cancer. "The latest prognosis is good," he said. "Our family life has resumed some degree of normalcy. We race as a family and when you've got a serious illness in the family it takes its toll on everyone. It's behind us now and the future looks bright at home and on the track. We're looking forward to getting back out in force and getting back to that championship level of competition."
The Cummings Team will add a Phantom Chassis hot rod in Top Dragster competition to its stable of vehicles in 2010. “We use K&N products on all our vehicles,” said Cummings. “With K&N we’re faster and very consistent on the track. Our K&N air and oil filters help us get to the Winner’s Circle.”
