Eco Friendly 2008 Custom Kawasaki ZX-10

Hydrogen gasoline engine on 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10 reportedly doubles the manufacturers estimated gas mileage

2008 Kawasaki ZX-10 is hydrogen gasoline hybrid custom designed by Derby City Customs

Green motorcycle designed by Derby City Customs to reduce its carbon footprint on the environment
“In a country thirsting for higher mileage vehicles, Derby City Customs has shown once again that innovation can come on two wheels just as easily as four,” said K&N Filters CEO Steve Rogers. “Imagine the decrease in gasoline consumption if more people drove a motorcycle to work. My hat’s off to Jason and Jeremy for doing something imaginative and relevant to a lot of people by reminding them there is another way to travel efficiently and enjoy the ride at the same time.”
The 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10 also has hand-made carbon fiber pieces to reduce its weight. “We also added super light custom Carrozzeria wheels and a blue custom vinyl graphics from Digital EFX in Kentucky,” said Cantwell. “This way there was no paint to damage the environment. It’s a digitally printed vehicle wrap that should hold up for 7 years through the elements.”
It is ready to ride and equipped with K&N air and oil filters. “K&N makes all of our filters for every one of our custom bikes,” said Cantwell. “We put the best on all of our motorcycles and K&N is our filter of choice. The company makes the best air and oil filters on the market.”
The motorcycle is scheduled to be on display at SEMA 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
